The Hangang Bridge bombing (Korean: 한강 인도교 폭파; Hanja: 漢江人道橋爆破) was a demolition operation conducted by the South Korean Army to destroy the Hangang Bridge in Seoul, South Korea, on 28 June 1950, to delay the rapid North Korean advance towards the city.On 25 June that year, North Korea invaded South Korea, sparking the Korean War.

Cheongam-dong is a dong, neighbourhood of Yongsan-gu in Seoul, South Korea. It is a legal dong (법정동 法定洞) administered under its administrative dong (행정동 行政洞), Wonhyoro 2-dong

Saenamteo is a location on the north bank of the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. During the Joseon Dynasty it was a sandy area outside the city walls. that was used punishment of political prisoners, including Roman Catholic believers, priests, and missionaries among the Korean Martyrs. A memorial church, consecrated in 1987, now stands on the site and houses a Martyrs' Memorial.

Raemian Caelitus, previously known as Raemian Ichon Rex, is a complex of three luxury high-rise residential towers in Seoul, South Korea. Tower 101 is Seoul's 12th tallest building and the tallest in Yongsan District. The complex was completed in 2015. Overlooking the Han River in central Seoul, the towers are a prominent sight from the banks of the river.

Nodeulseom an artificial island in the River Han in Seoul, South Korea. The uninhabited island is located to the east of the larger island of Yeouido. Hangang Bridge passes directly over the island. On September 28th, 2019, the island was re-opened as a music-themed cultural complex following a four-year renovation project.
