CUHK Medical Centre is a non-profit private hospital on Chak Cheung Street, Ma Liu Shui, New Territories, Hong Kong, next to University station. Opened on 6 January 2021, it is a self-financed teaching hospital of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The hospital provides more than 500 inpatient and day beds, as well as outpatient clinics and a series of specialist diagnosis and treatment procedures.

Hong Kong's Goddess of Democracy is a 6.4-metre faux bronze statue sculpted by Chen Weiming, inspired by the original 10-metre tall Goddess of Democracy. The original foam and papier-mâché statue was erected by the Chinese pro-democracy movement in Tiananmen Square at the end of May 1989, and destroyed by soldiers clearing the protesters from Tiananmen square on June 4, 1989.

The station would be on the East Rail line between University and Tai Po Market stations, serving the Hong Kong Science Park. However, little is known about the status of the planning of this station.

University station, formerly Ma Liu Shui station (馬料水站), is an MTR station located near the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Ma Liu Shui. It is between Tai Po Market and Fo Tan/Racecourse stations on the East Rail line. This station was the first post-war station to open on the line, and has the most curved track of any MTR station.
