Colwyn Bay (Welsh: Bae Colwyn) is a town, community and seaside resort in Conwy County Borough on the north coast of Wales overlooking the Irish Sea. It lies within the historic county of Denbighshire. Eight neighbouring communities are incorporated within its postal district. Established as its own separate parish in 1844 with just a small grouping of homes and farms where the community of Old Colwyn stands today, Colwyn Bay has expanded to become the second-largest community and business centre in the north of Wales as well as the 14th largest in the whole of Wales with the urban statistical area, including Old Colwyn, Rhos-on-Sea, and Mochdre and Penrhyn Bay, having a population of 34,284 at the 2011 census

Eirias Stadium (Welsh: Stadiwm Eirias), known for sponsorship reasons as Stadiwm Zip World, is a multi-purpose stadium that is part of the outdoor complex of the Eirias Events Centre in Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, Wales. It is home to the Principality Premiership team, RGC 1404 and RFL League 1 team North Wales Crusaders.

The Abergele rail disaster, which took place near the town of Abergele, on the north coast of Wales in August 1868, was, at the time, the worst railway disaster in Great Britain, and also the most alarming. The Railway News said of it:"No other collision has ever yet, in this country at least, been attended with such a loss of life, nor presented such horrifying features.

Colwyn Bay railway station (Welsh: Bae Colwyn) is on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales Coast Line.

Abergele & Pensarn railway station on the North Wales Coast Line serves the town of Abergele. It is located in the coastal suburb of Pensarn.

The Harlequin Puppet Theatre (founded 1958) is a puppet theatre at Rhos-on-Sea, Wales. Britain's oldest permanent puppet theatre, the Harlequin was built in 1958 by Eric Bramall and is now run by his former puppeteer partner, Chris Somerville. The small, 100-seat theatre is home to a collection of approximately 1,000 marionettes that feature in puppet shows during Britain's school holiday seasons.

Old Colwyn railway station was located in Colwyn, Denbighshire, North Wales, situated between the town to the south and the sea to the north.

Llandulas railway station was located in Denbighshire, North Wales, situated just north of the village of Llanddulas and with the sea to the north.

Rhos-on-Sea (Welsh: Llandrillo-yn-Rhos) is a seaside resort and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales. The population was 7,593 at the 2011 census. It adjoins Colwyn Bay and is named after the Welsh kingdom of Rhos established there in late Roman Britain as a sub-kingdom of Gwynedd. It later became a cantref (hundred).

Rhyl Pier, officially known as the Victoria Pier, was a pleasure pier in the seaside town of Rhyl, Wales, and the first to be built in North Wales. Designed by James Brunlees and opened in August 1867 at a length of 2,355 feet (718 m), it was the town's central attraction for the ensuing years. Following dispute and public consultation regarding the location it would be built, the pier was constructed near the centre of the esplanade.
