Rome (Italian and Latin: Roma [ˈroːma] (listen)) is the capital city and a special comune of Italy (named Comune di Roma Capitale), as well as the capital of the Lazio region. The city has been a major human settlement for almost three millennia. With 2,860,009 residents in 1,285 km2 (496.1 sq mi), it is also the country's most populated comune.

Porta Metronia is a gate in the third-century Aurelian Walls of Rome. The gate is located in the southern section of the wall between Porta San Giovanni to the east and Porta Latina to the south. During the tenth century, beyond this gate was marshland called the Prata Decii or the Decenniae. At the end of the Middle Ages, the gate was closed and the entrance bricked up.

The International Union of Notaries (UINL; Spanish: Union Internacional del Notariado Latino) is a non-governmental organisation. It aims to promote, co-ordinate and develop the function and activities of Notary throughout the world.

Giorgio Marincola is an underground station under construction of Line C of the Rome Metro. The station will be located between two important interchanges of the Roman metro system – the station Fori Imperali-Colosseo (Line B) and San Giovanni (Line A). Construction works started in 2013. The station is expected to become operational with the inauguration of the extension of Line C from San Giovanni to Fori Imperiali-Colosseo in 2024.
