Canal Lateral to the Garonne

Castets-en-Dorthe (French pronunciation: ​[kaste ɑ̃ dɔʁt]; Gascon: Castèths Andòrta) is a former commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the new commune Castets et Castillon.The village lies at the junction of the Canal de Garonne with the river Garonne.

Castets et Castillon (Gascon: Castèths e Castilhon) is a commune in the department of Gironde, southwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2017 by merger of the former communes of Castets-en-Dorthe (the seat) and Castillon-de-Castets.
