Avlabari (Georgian: ავლაბარი Avlabari, Armenian: Հավլաբար Havlabar) is a neighborhood of Old Tbilisi on the left bank (east side) of the Kura River. The 11th-13th century chronicles mention it as Isani, which is now one of the larger municipal regions of Tbilisi. Nowadays one of the upcoming hip neighborhoods of the city, Avlabari is being extensively gentrified.

Abanotubani (Georgian: აბანოთუბანი, literally "bath district") is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulphuric baths. Located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala fort across Metekhisubani, Abanotubani is an important historic part of the city: it is where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently, to founding of a new capital.

The Ejmiatsin Church (Armenian: Էջմիածնեցոց Սուրբ Գևորգ եկեղեցի; Georgian: წმინდა ეჯმიაწინის ეკლესია) is an 18th-century Armenian Apostolic church in the Avlabari district of Old Tbilisi, Georgia. The church is adjacent to the Avlabari Square.

The Church of the Red Gospel (Armenian: Կարմիր Ավետարան եկեղեցի, Karmir Avetaran Yekeghetsi; Armenian: Կարմիր վանք, Karmir Vank ) or Shamkoretsots Sourb Astvatsatsin Church (Armenian: Շամքորեցոց Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցի, meaning Shamkor Inhabitants' Holy Mother of God Church) is a ruined 18th century Armenian church in the Avlabar district of Old Tbilisi, Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Kldisubani St. George Church or Qarapi Saint Gevorg church (Georgian: კლდისუბნის წმ. გიორგის ეკლესია, Kldisubnis Tsminda Giorgis Eklesia; Armenian: Քարափի Սուրբ Գևորգ եկեղեցի, or Karapi Surb Gevorg Yekeghetsi) is an 18th-century church at the foot of the Narikala citadel in Old Tbilisi, Georgia. The church is single-naved and was built in 1753.

Metekhi (Metechi; Georgian: მეტეხი) is a historic neighborhood of Tbilisi, Georgia, located (42.92N 44.34E) on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari river. The neighborhood is home to the eponymous Metekhi Church of Assumption.

Saint George's Church (Armenian: Սուրբ Գևորգ եկեղեցի, Surb Gevorg yekeghetsi; Georgian: სურფგევორქი, sur′pgevork′i) is a 13th-century Armenian church in the old city of Tbilisi, Georgia's capital. It is one of the two functioning Armenian churches in Tbilisi and is the cathedral of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy, commonly referred to as Tbilisi Medical Academy, is a Georgian private medical university located in Tbilisi. The university was founded in 1992 by Petre Shotadze, in whose honor it was posthumously renamed.The University offers 6 year educational program in Medicine.

Narikala (Georgian: ნარიყალა) is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and the Mtkvari River. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulfur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. On the lower court there is the recently restored St Nicholas church.

Petros Adamian Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theatre (Armenian: Ստեփան Շահումյանի անվան հայկական պետական թատրոն Georgian: პეტროს ადამიანის სახელობის თბილისის სახემწიფო სომხური დრამატული თეატრი) was established in 1858 by the Armenian theater activist Gevorg Chmshkyan. Armenian writer Gabriel Sundukyan was among the supporters of theater.
