Redondo beach -Playa del Rey

Bruce's Beach was a beach resort in the city of Manhattan Beach (in Los Angeles County, California), that was owned by and operated for African Americans. It provided the African American community with opportunities unavailable at other beach areas because of racial segregation.Located at 26th Street and Highland Avenue, the property was acquired by the city via eminent domain proceedings in the 1920s and closed down.

Ballona Creek (Río de La Ballona) is an 8.8-mile-long (14.2 km) urbanized river in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, whose watershed includes a portion of the western Los Angeles basin, from the Santa Monica Mountains on the north, the Harbor Freeway (I-110) on the east, and the Baldwin Hills on the south.

Dockweiler State Beach is a beach in Los Angeles, California, with 3.75 miles (6.04 km) of shoreline and a hang gliding practice and training area. Although a unit of the California state park system, it is managed by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors. Chevron Reef, also known as Pratte's Reef, was an artificial reef constructed in 2000 in Santa Monica Bay, offshore from Dockweiler State Beach. It is the first artificial surfing reef in the United States and was the second to be built worldwide.

The Dickinson and Gillespie Building, is located at 200 Culver Boulevard in downtown Playa Del Rey, California, in the City of Los Angeles. This two-story commercial building, created in 1922, was an extensive remodel of the Hotel Playa, a hotel opened in 1906 on the same site.The building served at the headquarters of the Dickinson & Gillespie Real Estate Company, a Minneapolis, Minnesota based partnership which relocated here in 1922, and was directed by Fritz Bernard Burns, the General Manager.

El Porto Beach is a California public beach managed by the County of Los Angeles, located in Santa Monica Bay beside El Porto, which is now part of the City of Manhattan Beach, between the beaches of El Segundo Beach and Manhattan Beach, and is protected under the state park system.The entrance to El Porto's large parking lot, which has meters, is at the west end of 45th Street from Highland Avenue.

Holton is a former settlement in Los Angeles County, California. It lay at an elevation of 49 feet (15 m). Holton still appeared on USGS maps as of 1924. It was located on the Pacific Ocean south-southeast of Playa del Rey and west of the Los Angeles International Airport. It had a stop on the Redondo Beach via Playa del Rey Line of the Pacific Electric Railway.
