Withernsea is a seaside resort town and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, and forms the focal point for a wider community of small villages in Holderness. Its most famous landmark is the white inland lighthouse, rising around 127 feet (39 m) above Hull Road. The lighthouse – no longer active – now houses a museum to 1950s actress Kay Kendall, who was born in the town.

Owthorne was a town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was situated on the Holderness coast, to the north of Withernsea, and it is one of many settlements that have been lost to coastal erosion. Owthorne was a neighbouring town to Old Withernsea, which was largely destroyed in the 15th century, making Owthorne the major of the two settlements.

It is one of four RNLI stations in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with another five in North Yorkshire.A lifeboat was located at Withernsea between 1862 and 1913.

Withernsea Lighthouse is an inland lighthouse that stands in the middle of the town of Withernsea in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The lighthouse stands 127 feet (38 m) high and took 18 months to build between 1892 and 1894. Formerly owned and run by Trinity House of London, it ceased operation on 1 July 1976 and is now used as a museum.

Withernsea railway station is a disused railway station that was the terminus of the North Eastern Railway's Hull and Holderness Railway in Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was opened by the Hull and Holderness Railway on 27 June 1854. The station was closed to passengers on 19 October 1964.
