Gunthorpe circle route

Gunthorpe is a village and civil parish in the Newark and Sherwood district of Nottinghamshire, England. Its population was put at 752 in the 2011 census. It lies on the left bank of the River Trent. Gunthorpe Bridge on the A6097 road is the only bridge over the river between Newark and Nottingham.

Caythorpe is a hamlet and civil parish in Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated 10 miles (16 km) north-east from Nottingham, close to the River Trent. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 259, increasing to 271 at the 2011 Census.The hamlet has a water mill dated 1749. A windmill stood in a field called Fairholme, later Woolf's Farm.
