The National Tennis Center (simplified Chinese: 国家网球中心; traditional Chinese: 國家網球中心; pinyin: Guójiā Wǎngqiú Zhōngxīn), is a tennis center located in the Olympic Green. It opened on 1 October 2007. It hosted the tennis preliminaries and finals of singles and doubles for men and women at the Beijing 2008 Olympics as well as the Paralympic wheelchair tennis competitions.

The Beijing Olympic Village (simplified Chinese: 北京奥运村; traditional Chinese: 北京奧運村; pinyin: Běijīng Àoyùn Cūn) is a complex of high-rise apartments in Beijing, China, which were opened to the public on July 27, 2008 and closed on August 27, 2008, in conjunction with the 2008 Summer Olympics. As an Olympic Village, it hosted the competitors and their coaches during the event.

Olivier Strebelle (20 January 1927 – 29 July 2017) was a Belgian sculptor.Strebelle was born in Brussels, Belgium on 20 January 1927.His monumental (usually bronze) sculptures adorn many public places in Brussels as well as in Germany, Israel, Italy, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States.

Forest Park South Gate station (simplified Chinese: 森林公园南门站; traditional Chinese: 森林公園南門站; pinyin: Sēnlín Gōngyuán Nán Mén zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway. It is located at the south entrance to the Olympic Forest Park.

The Olympic Forest Park is a large, man-made nature park situated at the north end of the Olympic Green in Beijing. Built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the park has two parts: the southern part is oval in shape and features Aohai lake in the center, and the northern side has a mountain that gives an excellent view of this part of the city.
