Vigie Beach is located 2 km north of Castries, Saint Lucia, running parallel and immediately adjacent to the George F. L. Charles Airport.It is a protected white sand beach. Immediately opposite the airport departure lounge are a few small food kiosks.

George F. L. Charles Airport (commonly known as Vigie Airport) (IATA: SLU, ICAO: TLPC) is the smaller of the two airports in Saint Lucia, the other being Hewanorra International Airport. Saint Mary's College is an all-male Catholic secondary school located at Vigie, Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. The school is the only St. Lucian secondary school to have produced a Nobel Laureate, producing the island's two Nobel laureates: Sir William Arthur Lewis and Derek Alton Walcott. The jurist and politician Sir Vincent Floissac was also a pupil at the school, as was John Compton, former Prime Minister of St.

Vigie is part of Castries, Saint Lucia.The French established a village at the base of Vigie Hill in 1745, and a military headquarters on Vigie Height. Three forts were built, Choc Fort facing Choc Bay, Fort St. Victor at the entrance to Grand Carénage Bay (Castries Harbor), and Fort Montagu overlooking Petit Carénage Bay.
