Wishaw

Pather is a suburb of Wishaw, Scotland and was initially built as a council estate. It is situated around ½ miles (0.8 km) from the town centre. Pather can be entered by vehicle from Caledonian Road into either Lomond Drive or Tarbert Avenue. Pedestrian access is also available from Dimsdale at the top of the estate and from Thornlie Gill onto Lomond Drive as well as at The Tunnel area on Caladonian Road.

Overtown is a village in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It has a population of 2,500. It is located to the east of the River Clyde, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Wishaw. Originally developed as a mining village in the 19th century, its population declined after the closure of the coal mines and the associated railways in the 1950s.

Gowkthrapple is a small neighbourhood of Wishaw, Scotland, situated around ​3⁄4 miles (1.2 km) from the town centre. Gowkthrapple can be entered off of Castlehill Road which runs the length of the estate. Formerly an industrial area, associated with the Pather Iron and Steel Works and then Smith's clock factory, which opened in 1951.

Overtown railway station, also known as Overtown Road railway station, served the village of Overtown, North Lanarkshire, Scotland from 1843 to 1942 on the Wishaw and Coltness Railway.

South Wishaw Parish Church is a Parish church of the Church of Scotland, serving the Southern area of Wishaw, North Lanarkshire(stretching from the Main Street down to the banks of the River Clyde - including Pather, Netherton, and the southern part of the town centre). It is within the Church of Scotland's Presbytery of Hamilton.

Wishaw South was one of two stations that served the town of Wishaw in Scotland between 1841 and 1958, the other station being Wishaw Central. It was on the Caledonian Main Line, which was later known as the West Coast Main Line.

The Burgh of Wishaw was formed in 1855 within Lanarkshire. it formed a joint large burgh with its neighbour Motherwell from 1920 until its dissolution when Scottish local authorities were restructured in 1975, and was then in Motherwell district within the Strathclyde region until 1996.

Wishaw railway station is a railway station in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The station is managed by Abellio ScotRail and lies on the Wishaw Deviation Line just south of the single track link line which connects to the West Coast Main Line at Shieldmuir.

St Ignatius Church is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Church, located in the town of Wishaw in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is within the Diocese of Motherwell. The church building was constructed in 1865, and is a category A listed building. It was designed by George Goldie in a Gothic revival style.
