Beaulieu

Beaulieu-sur-Mer (French: [boljø syʁ mɛʁ]; Occitan: Bèuluec de Mar; Italian: Belluogo; "Beautiful place [by the Sea]") is a seaside village on the French Riviera between Nice and Monaco. It is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department and borders the communes of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Èze, and Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃ ʒɑ̃ kap fɛʁa]), Italian: San Giovanni Capo Ferrato) is a commune of the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France.It is located on a peninsula next to Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche-sur-Mer and extends out to Cap Ferrat. Its tranquillity and warm climate make it a favourite holiday destination among the European aristocracy and international millionaires.

Cap Ferrat (pronounced [kap fɛʁa]) (English: Cape Ferrat) is situated in the Alpes-Maritimes département, in southeastern France. It is located in the commune of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.Saint Hospitius lived here as a recluse during the sixth century. Thus, the cape is sometimes called Cap-Saint-Hospice or Cap-Saint-Sospis.

The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel is a famous five star luxury resort hotel, situated in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in the French Riviera. The hotel obtained the "Palace de France" distinction, granted by the French government for its excellence in service in 2011. The highest ranking of all the many “palaces” that sprang up all over the French Riviera, the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat overlooks the sea from the furthermost tip of the peninsula from which it takes its name.

Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France, is a house in Ancient Greek style built in the early 1900s by French archaeologist Theodore Reinach. It has been listed since 1966 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

The Villa de May is a historic mansion in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France. It was built in 1826 for Gaétan de May. It was purchased by the city of Beaulieu-sur-Mer in 1967 and was designated a monument historique on 25 January 1980. It now houses a music conservatory.

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, also called villa Île-de-France, is a French seaside villa located at Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera.The villa was designed by the French architect Aaron Messiah, and constructed between 1905 and 1912 by Baroness Béatrice de Rothschild (1864–1934) .A member of the Rothschild banking family and the wife of the banker Baron Maurice de Ephrussi, Béatrice de Rothschild built her rose-colored villa on a promontory on the isthmus of Cap Ferrat overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The villa La Mauresque is located in cap Ferrat (Alpes-Maritimes) and was remodeled in 1927 by the American architect Barry Dierks (1899-1960) to serve as the main residence of the British novelist Somerset Maugham.Surrounded by gardens and terraces, this villa has received numerous writers and celebrities.
