Male Levare - Malacky

Malacky (German: Malatzka, Hungarian: Malacka) is a town and municipality in western Slovakia around 35 kilometres (22 miles) north from capital Bratislava. From the second half of the 10th century until 1918, it was part of the Kingdom of Hungary. It is one of the centres of the region "Záhorie", between the Little Carpathians in the east and Morava River in the west and a cultural and economic hub for nearby villages such as Gajary, Kostolište, Veľké Leváre and Jakubov.

The Malacky District (Slovak: okres Malacky) is a district inthe Bratislava Region of western Slovakia. It lies north from Bratislava on Záhorská nížina lowland. Its current borders have been established in 1996. The administrative seat is its largest town, Malacky. In the Malacky District the industrial park Eurovalley is located, on area of 1,500 hectares (3,700 acres) with several thousand employees.

Gajary (German: Gayring) is a village and municipality in western Slovakia close to the town of Malacky in the Bratislava region. It lies around 40 km (25 statute miles) north-west of Slovakia's capital Bratislava close to the Austrian border. The village has around 3500 inhabitants.The village is an important archaeological site: findings from the Neolithic period, Eneolithic period, Bronze Age, early Slavic period (several Slavic settlements) have been excavated there.

Kostolište is a village in Malacky District in the Bratislava Region of western Slovakia close to the town of Malacky, north-west of Slovakia's capital Bratislava.

Veľké Leváre (Hungarian: Nagylévárd, Nagy-Lévárd, German: Gross-Schützen, Großschützen) is a village and municipality in western Slovakia in Malacky District in the Bratislava region.The first written notice about the village has its origins in the year 1378. The village Veľké Leváre is situated in the reach of these well-known centers: Bratislava, Vienna, and Brno.
