The N. G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy (Russian: Военно-морская академия имени Н. Г. Кузнецова) is the main staff college and postgraduate institution for the Russian Navy and is located in Saint Petersburg.In 1827 Admiral Ivan Kruzenshtern initiated an Officers' Class at the Naval Cadet Corps. In 1862 the Class was reorganized into an Academic Course of Maritime Science.

Sampsonievsky Bridge, was also known as Freedom Bridge during the 20th century, is a structure located over the Bolshaya Nevka river, St Petersburg, Russia. It links Kuybysheva Street and Finlandsky Avenue. It was named after St. Sampson’s Cathedral. It is 215 metres long and 27 metres wide.

St Sampson's Cathedral (Сампсониевский собор) is the oldest church in St. Petersburg. It stands on the northern outskirts of the city and gives its name to Sampsonievsky Avenue. Rumor has it that it was in St. Sampson's Cathedral that Catherine II of Russia secretly married Grigory Potemkin in 1774.The original wooden church was built in 1710 to honor Sampson the Hospitable.

Kamenny Island Palace (Каменноостровский дворец) is a former imperial palace on the south-western promontory of Kamenny Island in St. Petersburg.The Neoclassical edifice was commissioned in the 1770s by Catherine II of Russia for her son Paul. It has a portico of six Tuscan columns and a spacious cour d'honneur.

Saint Petersburg Television Tower is a 326 m (1,070 ft) Russian steel lattice television tower in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Being the very first dedicated television tower in the Soviet Union, the Saint Petersburg TV Tower is utilized for transmitting for FM-/TV-broadcasting throughout the federal city.
