Bwlch Penbarras (also known as Bwlch Pen Barras, or the Old Bwlch) is a mountain pass in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in north-east Wales.The pass is on an unclassified road between Tafarn-y-Gelyn and Llanbedr-Dyffryn-Clwyd. It crosses the Clwydian Range at an altitude of 360 metres (1181 feet) between the hills of Moel Famau (to the north) and Foel Fenlli (to the south).

Bodfari railway station

Bodfari railway station was opened on 6 September 1869 by the Mold and Denbigh Junction Railway. Following the Railways Act 1921 the line became part of the LMS. The station was located to the west of the road bridge on the A541 close to the village. Station buildings were on the Chester bound platform and there was a shelter on the Denbigh platform.

The hill, which also gives its name to the Moel Famau country park, has been classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since 1985. It is also surrounded by several well-preserved Iron Age hill forts.

Penycloddiau is a hill in Flintshire, Wales, and one of five Marilyns in the Clwydian Range.The hill, like Foel Fenlli and Moel Arthur to the south, has an Iron Age hillfort at its summit. It covers 26 hectares (64 acres) making it one of the largest hillforts in Wales. In 2017, excavations by the Clywdian Range Archaeology Group (CRAG) unearthed a significant number of 4,000-year-old stone tools from the Bronze Age, the discovery indicates human activity occurred much earlier than first thought in the area.

With a summit at an elevation of 511 metres (1,677 ft), it is the second highest peak of the Clwydian Range.A popular ascent leads south from the car park at Bwlch Penbarras, which is also a popular starting point for ascending Moel Famau to the north.

Moel Arthur ("Arthur's Hill") is an Iron Age hillfort in Flintshire, Wales, at the boundary with Denbighshire, about 5 miles (8.0 km) east of Denbigh.It is on a prominent hill, height 455.8 metres (1,495 ft), in the Clwydian Range; it overlooks the Vale of Clwyd to the west. Offa's Dyke Path skirts the hill.
