Sukhna lake

Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, India, is a reservoir at the foothills (Shivalik hills) of the Himalayas. This 3 km² rainfed lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills. Originally the seasonal flow entered the lake directly causing heavy siltation.

Bir Shikargah Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Panchkula district of Haryana state, India. It is spread over an area of 767.30 hectares (1,896.0 acres). It also houses Vulture Conservation and Breeding Centre, Pinjore.

It has a 7,202 yard, 18 hole course known for its challenging narrow fairways, a long 613 yard long, dogleg 7th hole and floodlighting on the first nine holes.The club has been home to some fine professional golfers, the most noted being Jeev Milkha Singh, the winner or 2006 Asian Tour Order of Merit Winner and the first Indian to compete on the European Tour and at the Masters.
