The Battle of Jaffa took place during the Crusades, as one of a series of campaigns between the army of Sultan Saladin (Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb) and the Crusader forces led by King Richard I of England (known as Richard the Lionheart). It was the final battle of the Third Crusade, after which Saladin and King Richard were able to negotiate a truce.

The Jaffa Clock Tower (Hebrew: מגדל השעון יפו‎, Migdal haShaon Yafo, Arabic: يافا برج الساعة‎) stands in the middle of the north end of Yefet Street in Jaffa. The tower, built of limestone, incorporates two clocks and a plaque commemorating the Israelis killed in the battle for the town in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

The al-Bahr Mosque or Masjid al-Bahr (Arabic: مسجد البحر‎, Misgad HaYam (Hebrew: מסגד הים‎), meaning in all languages The Sea Mosque, is the oldest extant mosque in Jaffa, Israel. It is situated on the HaAliya HaShniya Street near the harbour. Due to its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, fishermen and sailors used the mosque, as well as nearby inhabitants of the surrounding area.

The Jaffa railway station was the first railway station in the Middle East, serving as the terminus for the Jaffa–Jerusalem railway. The station was inaugurated in 1891 and closed in 1948; Between 2005 and 2009 the station was restored and converted to an entertainment and leisure venue, branded as The Station (HaTachanah).

The Avni Institute of Art and Design is an Israeli art school located in Tel Aviv. The institute is known for teaching and employing many well known Israeli artists and designers.The school was established in 1936 as the Studia by a group of Jewish artists. Among these founders was Aharon Avni, who became the first school director.

St. Peter's Church (Hebrew: כנסיית פטרוס הקדוש‎) is a Franciscan church in Jaffa, part of Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Arab-Hebrew Theater is a multilingual theater located in the Old Saraya House in the Old City of Jaffa. It serves as a stage for two theater companies working independently and together in two languages: Hebrew and Arabic. The Hebrew company is "Teatron Mekomi (Local Theater)", which was established in 1990 by Yigal Ezrati and Gabi Eldor, and the Arab company is "Al-Saraya", which was established in 1998.

The Mahmoudiya Mosque (Arabic: جامع المحمودية‎, Hebrew: מסגד מחמודיה‎) is the largest and most significant mosque in Jaffa, now part of the larger city of Tel Aviv. It is composed of a complex of buildings arranged around two large courtyards and a third, smaller, courtyard. The buildings, gates, and courtyards were built at different stages throughout the 18th and 19th centuries while Southern Syria was under Ottoman rule.

The Old City of Jaffa (Hebrew: יפו העתיקה – Ancient Yafo; Arabic: يافا العتيقه – Ancient Jaffa or يافا القديمة – Old Jaffa) is the historical part of the Israeli city of Jaffa. A neighborhood with art galleries, restaurants, theaters, museums, and nightclubs, it is one of Tel Aviv's main tourist attractions.
