Easy McGill College

McGill University (French: Université McGill) is a public research university in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was established in 1821 by royal charter, granted by King George IV. The university bears the name of James McGill, a Montreal merchant originally from Scotland whose bequest in 1813 formed the university's precursor, McGill College.

The Desautels Faculty of Management is a faculty of McGill University. The faculty offers a range of undergraduate and graduate-level business programs including the Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Philosophy in management degrees and maintains teaching facilities in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and Tokyo, Japan.

James McGill (October 6, 1744 – December 19, 1813) was a Scottish businessman and philanthropist best known for being the founder of McGill University, Montreal. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada for Montreal West in 1792 and was appointed to the Executive Council of Lower Canada in 1793.

The Redpath Museum is a museum of natural history belonging to McGill University and located on the university's campus at 859 Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal, Quebec. It was built in 1882 as a gift from the sugar baron Peter Redpath.It houses collections of interest to ethnology, biology, paleontology, and mineralogy/geology.

The McTavish reservoir, named for Simon McTavish, is an underground reservoir and park located within McGill University's campus on the southern slope of Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It holds 37 million gallons of water and is supplied by its large Château Style pump-houses located in the south-eastern corner of the park.

Le 1501 McGill College, also known as La Tour McGill, is a 158 m (518 ft), 36-storey skyscraper in Downtown Montreal. Named for its address at 1501 McGill College Avenue, it was completed in 1992 at the same time as the city's two tallest buildings, 1000 de La Gauchetière and 1250 René-Lévesque. It is connected to the McGill Metro station via the Underground City.

The Roddick Gates, also known as the Roddick Memorial Gates, are monumental gates in Montreal that serve as the main entrance to the McGill University downtown campus. They are located on Sherbrooke Street West and are at the northern end of the very short but broad McGill College Avenue, which starts at Place Ville-Marie.

The McLennan Library Building of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is situated at the northeast corner of Sherbrooke Street and McTavish Street. The building, along with the Redpath Library Building currently houses the Humanities and Social Sciences Library, the largest branch of the McGill University Library.

McGill College Avenue (officially in French: avenue McGill College) is a street in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Named for McGill University, the street was widened in the 1980s and transformed into a scenic avenue with McGill's Roddick Gates on Sherbrooke Street at its north end and the Place Ville Marie plaza at its south end.

The Bell Media Tower (Tour Bell Média) is a skyscraper in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located at 1800 McGill College Avenue, it was built for the Montreal Trust Company, and shared the name Place Montreal Trust with the adjoining mall. It stands 125 m (410 ft) and 30 storeys tall. It was originally owned by Cadillac Fairview but is now owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge.
