Lavasan

Lavasan (Persian: لواسان‎, also Romanized as Lavāsān) is an affluent town in Shemiranat County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 28,558, in 7,645 families. The Jajrood River flows through Lavasan. Situated 11 kilometers northeast of Tehran, Lavasan is known for its excellent weather and the luxurious mansions.

Astalak-e Pain (Persian: اصطلك پايين‎, also Romanized as Aşţalak-e Pā'īn) is a village in Karasht Rural District, in the Bumehen District of Pardis County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 127, in 40 families.

Lavasan-e Bozorg Rural District (Persian: دهستان لواسان بزرگ‎) is a rural district (dehestan) in Lavasanat District, Shemiranat County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,873, in 1,111 families. The rural district has 14 villages.
