HKU (Chinese: 香港大學) is a station on the Hong Kong MTR Island Line located in the Lung Fu Shan and Shek Tong Tsui neighbourhood of the Western District, Hong Kong. It is named after The University of Hong Kong, which is also served by the station.Part of the West Island Line, a westward extension to the existing Island Line, HKU Station opened on 28 December 2014 along with Kennedy Town Station.

Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired (Chinese: 心光盲人院暨學校) is a school for blind and visually disabled children in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong.A German missionary, Martha Postler, created the school in 1897. The school's first location was in Western District. Postler, who originated from the Hildesheimer Blindenmission, created the school as she took care of four girls who experienced visual impairment.

High West (Chinese: 西高山) is a mountain in Hong Kong Island.The mountain has a height of 494 m (1,621 ft). It is west of Victoria Peak, north of Pok Fu Lam and south of Lung Fu Shan. Queen Mary Hospital is at its west slope. Harlech, Hatton and Lugard Roads terminate at a junction in the pass on its north slope between it and Victoria Peak.

Pinewood Battery is a historic military site in Hong Kong, located 307 metres (1,007 ft) above sea level, within Lung Fu Shan Country Park, in the northwestern part of Hong Kong Island.

Lung Fu Shan Country Park (Chinese: 龍虎山郊野公園, established 18 December 1998) is a country park located in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong. It covers the densely vegetated slopes of Lung Fu Shan, including the disused Pinewood Battery as well as the Pinewood Garden picnic area, providing a scenic backdrop to the residential and commercial districts of Hong Kong Island.
