The Kazan Governorate (Russian: Каза́нская губе́рния; Tatar: Казан губернасы; Chuvash: Хусан кӗперниӗ), or the Government of Kazan, was a governorate (a guberniya) of the Tsardom of Russia, the Russian Empire, and the Russian SFSR from 1708–1920, with its seat in the city of Kazan.

Baumana Street (Russian: улица Баумана; Tatar: Бауман урамы) is a pedestrian street in the heart of Kazan, the capital of the Tatarstan, Russia. It is named after Nikolay Bauman, a Russian revolutionary, and is located in the central part of the city. The street starts at the foot of the Kremlin and reaches Tukay Square, the central square in the city.

The Galiaskar Kamal Tatar Academic Theatre (Russian: Татарский Академический Театр имени Галиаскара Камала, Tatar: Галиәсгар Камал исемендәге татар дәүләт академия театры) is the leading Tatar theater in Kazan, Russia. Named after the playwright Galiaskar Kamal, it was founded on December 22, 1906.The first known Tatar theatrical efforts were during the 19th century when Tatar amateur theater groups emerged in some cities and towns of Russia with sizable Tatar populations.

Pushkin Street (Russian: улица Пушкина; Tatar: Cyrillic Пушкин урамы, Latin Puşkin uramı) is the main street of Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The street runs from the Qaban Lakes in the southwest to the Kazanka River in the north. The street is one of the busiest in Kazan and is a major shopping area.

Tatar State University of Humanities and Education (Russian: Татарский государственный гуманитарно-педагогический университет, Tatar: Татар дәүләт гуманитар-педагогика университеты) is a university in Kazan, Russian Federation. It was formed in 2005 by a merger of institutions. They included the Kazan State Pedagogical University, the third oldest pedagogical university in Russia, after Moscow State Pedagogical University and Hertzen Russian State Pedagogical University in Saint Petersburg.

Ploshchad Gabdully Tukaya (Russian: Площадь Габдуллы Тукая) is a station of the Kazan Metro. Opened as part of the first stage of the system on 27 August 2005, it is located in very center of the city, and is named after the square which carries the name of the famous Tatar poet Ğabdulla Tuqay.The station is a standard sub-surface pillar bi-span arrangement, with 12 square concrete pillars running along the central axis of the platform.

Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral (Petropavlovsky Cathedral, Russian: Петропавловский собор) is a Russian Orthodox church in Kazan (Tatarstan). It is one of the most famous churches in Naryshkin Baroque.The temple is consecrated in honour of heavenly Tsar Peter I of Russia patron.Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral is built in 1722.
