The Café Leonar is a café, bar and bookstore (selling fiction, non fiction and Judaica) in Hamburg, Germany, founded by Sonia Simmenauer. It is the first Jewish café in Hamburg since pre-war times, and serves kosher pastries as well as Jewish specialities. It opened its doors on the 15 January 2008 in the old Jewish part of Hamburg called the Grindel.

The "th", which in general was abolished in the spelling reform of 1900, was preserved in names. Depending on grammatical context, it might also be spelled with n as Rothenbaum.

Wandse (in sections also called Eilbek) is a river of Schleswig-Holstein and of Hamburg, Germany.The Wandse rises west of the village of Siek in Kreis Stormarn in Schleswig-Holstein and ends in the center of Hamburg in the Alster. Along the banks of the Wandse there were many water mills. The river passes through the settlements of Siek, Braak, Stapelfeld, and Hamburg.

The Museum am Rothenbaum – Kulturen und Künste der Welt (lit. Museum at the Rothenbaum – Cultures and Arts of the World, abbr.: MARKK, former name: Museum of Ethnology, Hamburg, German: Museum für Völkerkunde Hamburg), founded in 1879, is today one of the largest museums of ethnology in Europe. The approximately 350,000 objects in the collection are visited every year by about 180,000 visitors.
