Garstang and Scorton

Garstang is an old market town and civil parish within the Wyre borough of Lancashire, England. It is 10 miles (16 km) north of the city of Preston and the same distance south of Lancaster.In 2011, the parish had a total resident population of 4,268; the larger Garstang Built-up Area, which includes the adjoining settlements of Bonds and Cabus, had population of 6,779.

Cabus is a village and civil parish in Lancashire, England.It lies 12 miles north of Preston, 9 miles south of Lancaster and 16 miles north east of Blackpool. The electoral ward of Cabus, which includes some northern suburbs of Garstang and a rural area around the village, had a population of 1,573 in 2001 and lies in the Wyre district.

Garstang Football Club is an English football club based in Garstang, Lancashire. They are currently members of the North West Counties League Division One North and play at the Riverside.

Garstang Town railway station served the market town of Garstang in Lancashire, England. It opened in 1870. The station closed for passengers in 1930 and for freight in 1965.

St Peter's Church is in the village of Scorton, Lancashire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Garstang, the archdeaconry of Lancaster and the diocese of Blackburn. Its benefice is united with those of All Saints, Barnacre, and St John the Evangelist, Calder Vale. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.
