Sha Tin Tai Po

Tai Po Market (Chinese: 大埔墟; Cantonese Yale: Daaihbouhēui; pronounced: [tàːipōu.hɵ́y]) is a station on the East Rail Line in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Located in Tai Po near Uptown Plaza, the station has three tracks and four platforms. Platform 1 is for northbound trains to border crossing stations at Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau and platform 4 is for southbound trains to Hung Hom, Kowloon while platforms 2 and 3 use the same track and is reserved for peak hour traffic.

Shatin Hospital (Cantonese Yale: Sātìhn Yīyún), formerly known as Shatin Infirmary and Convalescent Hospital (Cantonese Yale: Sātìhn Wuhyéuhng Yún), commenced operation on 2 December 1991 and has been in full function since 1 February 1994. Shatin Hospital comprises 650 beds, 80 psychiatric day places, 40 geriatric day places and 40 hospice and palliative day places.

Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works (Chinese: 沙田污水處理廠) is a sewage treatment facility in Hong Kong. It is located in Ma Liu Shui, Sha Tin, along the Shing Mun River, at its mouth into Sha Tin Hoi (Tide Cove).The treatment works serves Sha Tin, Ma On Shan and the villages nearby. The plant is managed by the Drainage Services Department.
