The 125th IOC Session took place at the Buenos Aires Hilton in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 7 September to 10 September 2013. The International Olympic Committee elected Tokyo as the host city of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games on 7 September. Wrestling was restored to the Olympic program for 2020 and 2024, and Thomas Bach was elected to an eight-year term as IOC President.

The Alas Building (Spanish: Edificio Alas) is a Rationalist residential and office building located in the San Nicolás section of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It stands at a height of 141 metres (463 ft) and houses 41 floors. Alas was the tallest building in Buenos Aires between 1955 and 1995, when it was surpassed by the Le Parc tower.

The Kavanagh Building (Spanish: Edificio Kavanagh) is an Art Deco skyscraper in Buenos Aires, located at 1065 Florida Street in the barrio of Retiro, overlooking Plaza San Martín. It was the highest skyscraper in Latin America.

The Puerto Madero Street Circuit is a street circuit located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires. It was used for the first time on 10 January 2015 for the fourth ePrix of Formula E. The track is 2.480 km (1.54 mi) in length and features 12 turns. The circuit was designed by Santiago García Remohí. The circuit was the only venue to have featured in the first three seasons, however it did not feature in the fourth season.

The UCEMA (Spanish: Universidad del CEMA) is a private university in downtown Buenos Aires, Argentina. UCEMA is a non-profit private organization whose beginning dates back to 1978. First founded as a research center (Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos de Argentina) with the objective of contributing to the economic development of the country, the university now offers seven undergraduate programs, nine graduate level programs, and three executive programs in business, finance, economics, computer engineering and political science.
