The Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University (Ukrainian: Національний технічний університет «Дніпровська політехніка»), abbreviated in Ukrainian as NTU DP (Ukrainian: НТУ ДП) is located in Dnipro, the third most populous city in Ukraine. It was founded in 1899 as the Yekaterinoslav Higher Mining School.

Sobornyi District (Ukrainian: Соборний район) is an urban district of the city of Dnipro, in southern Ukraine. It is located in the city's center on the right-bank of the Dnieper River.It was created on 16 March 1936 out of the Kirovskyi and Fabrychno-Chechelivskyi districts. In 1973, a portion of its territory was annexed to the newly created Babushkinskyi District.

Muzeina (Ukrainian: Музейна) is a station currently under construction on the Dnipro Metro's Tsentralno–Zavodska Line. It was projected to be opened by 2015. But construction was stopped because the tender to select the contractor was stopped by the city council in August 2015. The station is named for its proximity next to the city's historical museum.

The Khrennikov House is a four-floor building in Dnipro (formerly Yekaterinoslav), one of the best examples of the Art Nouveau architecture in the city. It is located at the corner of Dmytra Yavornytskoho Avenue and Korolenko Street and currently houses Grand Hotel Ukraina.

The Saviour's Transfiguration Cathedral (Ukrainian: Спасо-Преображенський кафедральний собор) is the main Orthodox church of Dnipro, Ukraine.

Monastyrskyi Island (Ukrainian: Монастирський острів) is an island within the boundaries of the Sobornyi district of the Ukrainian city of Dnipro near the right bank of the Dnipro river.It is covered with granite rocks to the west which gradually turns into a sandy spit in the east of the island. Part of the island belongs to the Taras Shevchenko city park.

Tsentralnyi District (Ukrainian: Центральний район) is an urban district of the city of Dnipro, in southern Ukraine. It is located in the city's center and on the right-bank of the Dnieper River. It was originally created in 1932 as the Tsentralnyi Nahornyi District, but on 2 December 1934 it was renamed as the Kirovskyi District.
