The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a museum of modern and contemporary art designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, and located in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. The museum was inaugurated on 18 October 1997 by King Juan Carlos I of Spain. Built alongside the Nervion River, which runs through the city of Bilbao to the Cantabrian Sea, it is one of several museums belonging to the Solomon R.

The Iberdrola Tower (Basque: Iberdrola dorrea, Spanish: Torre Iberdrola) is an office skyscraper in Bilbao, Spain. Its construction started on 19 March 2009 and was officially inaugurated by King Juan Carlos I on 21 February 2012. The tower has a height of 165 metres (541 feet) tall and has 40 floors.

La Salve is a quarter in the 2nd district of the city of Bilbao, Spain. It gains its name from the fact that sailors, returning from sea, would first see the tower of the Basilica of Begoña at this point as ships returned up the river Nervión, which runs through the city. According to folklore, they would start praying to the Virgin Begoña, the patron saint of the region, thanking her for protecting them during their time at sea.

The Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall (Palacio Euskalduna, in Spanish),(Euskalduna Jauregia, in Basque) is located in the city of Bilbao, in the Basque Country (Spain), beside the Estuary of Bilbao, built in part of the area that was formerly occupied by the Euskalduna shipyards.It was designed by architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios and construction started in 1994.

The Isozaki Atea (Basque: Isozaki Gate) twin towers in Bilbao, Spain are the tallest residential buildings in the city and the Basque Country, designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. The towers are 83 metres (272 ft) tall and have 23 floors. The first two floors are used for mixed-commercial purposes, and the remaining floors are residential.

Doña Casilda Iturrizar park is a public park located in the city of Bilbao (Basque Autonomous Community, Spain), in the central neighbourhood of Indautxu. It is named after Casilda Iturrízar, who donated the terrains.It was the only lung of the city until a few years ago. It is an English-style garden created more than 100 years ago, in which the main highlights are the perfectly preserved examples of many centenary tree species.

Deusto (or Deustu) is a district of the city of Bilbao (Biscay), in the Spanish Basque Country on the right bank of the Estuary of Bilbao. It includes the neighbourhoods of Arangoiti, Ibarrekolanda, San Ignacio-Elorrieta and San Pedro de Deusto-La Rivera, with a total population of 48,933. It used to be a separate municipality until it was incorporated in 1925.

Indautxu is a quarter of central Bilbao, Basque Country (Spain), located in the district of Abando. It is a relatively affluent neighbourhood and is most famous for the large number of private hospitals and clinics, the large Society of Jesus school and the Doña Casilda Iturrizar park, all located in the area.

The Circuito Urbano Bilbao is a street circuit in Bilbao, Spain. It was used only once in July 2005 for an event of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championships.

The Basque Center of Applied Mathematics (BCAM) is a research center on applied mathematics, created with the support of the Basque Government and the University of the Basque Country. The BCAM headquarters are in Alda. Mazarredo, 14 in Bilbao, the capital of the province of Biscay in the Basque Country of northern Spain.
