start the walk from the rugby club on abbey road, walk through the rugby club gate and follow the left hand wall all the way down until the path bears right down to the bridge and cross it now the track follows through a nice little tree area turn right when you reach the road to do some retail therapy unless you want to walk back.
walk back the same way until you cross the bridge again, as the path bears left slip down onto a little track between the tree's ( this used to be the miniature railway track) follow it ahead until you're back in the abbey grounds but keep by the river going forward, eventually you will see the tennis courts on your right but keep by the riverside 100 yds past here take the small slope on your right to come back by the rugby club.
