Victory Park

It was one of the largest in Belorussian SSR, and the largest in the German-occupied territory of the Soviet Union.

The National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian: Нацыянальны акадэмічны Вялікі тэатр оперы і балета) is located in a park in the Trinity Hill district of Minsk. Local people call it the "Opierny Teatr" (Belarusian) or the "Opera and Ballet Theatre". It opened on 15 May 1933 but it first did not have its own venue for presentations at the Belarusian Drama Theatre building until 1938.

Svislach, or Śvisłač (Belarusian: Сьвіслач, pronounced [ˈsʲvʲisɫatʂ] (listen)) or Svisloch (Russian: Свислочь) is a river in Belarus, a right tributary of the Biarezina river. It is 327 km in length. The name is derived from the root -visl- 'flowing,' of Indo-European origin (compare the Vistula River).Śvisłač flows through Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

Atlas (Belarusian: Атлант, the transliteration into Latin script being Atlant) is a company, based in Minsk, Belarus, which makes household appliances, and also the brand of those appliances. It is one of the leading manufacturers of household appliances in the Commonwealth of Independent States.The company consists of three plants, the oldest and most important being the Minsk Refrigerator Plant (Belarusian: Мінскі завод халадзільнікаў), which produces household and commercial refrigerators and freezers, and by which name the entire enterprise is sometimes called.

Independence Palace (Belarusian: Палац Незалежнасцi) is a palace in Minsk. Located on the Pieramožcaŭ Avenue, near the exhibition center "BelExpo" and the State Flag Square, not far from Victory Park.The purpose of the Palace of Independence is to host important and landmark events, meetings of foreign delegations, honoring of big families, and the admitting of children to pioneer organizations.

The Pit (Belarusian: Яма) is a monument on the corner of Melnikayte and Zaslavskaya streets dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust in Minsk, Belarus. It is on the site where, on March 2, 1942, the Nazi forces shot about 5,000 inhabitants of the nearby Minsk Ghetto.The obelisk was created in 1947, and in 2000 a bronze sculpture titled "The Last Way" was added.

Minsk Sports Palace is an indoor sports arena, located in Minsk, Belarus. The arena seats 4,842 spectators and opened in May 1966. It hosts various indoor events and used to serve as the home of HC Dynamo Minsk, of the Kontinental Hockey League, before Minsk-Arena was completed. It also hosted Miss Supranational 2013 on September 6.

The Minsk Suvorov Military School (MnSVU) (Belarusian: Мінск Сувораўскае ваеннае вучылішча) is one of the Suvorov Military Schools in Belarus and in other former Soviet Republics for military cadets. The MnSVU is a state specialised educational institution that focuses on military subjects and trains students for universities and further military or civil service.

Maksim Bahdanovič Literary Museum is a museum in Minsk, Belarus. It is dedicated to the writer Maksim Bahdanovič (1891–1917).

The fifth inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko as the President of Belarus took place on November 6, 2015. The ceremony was held in the Independence Palace in Minsk for the first time. President Lukashenko was inaugurated in the presence of over 1,000 invited guests, who will include top government officials, members of both chambers of the parliament, all kinds of executives, and foreign guests.
