Hamburg (English: , German: [ˈhambʊʁk] (listen); Low Saxon: Hamborg), officially the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (German: Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg; Low Saxon: Friee un Hansestadt Hamborg), is the second-largest city in Germany after Berlin and 8th largest city in the European Union with a population of over 1.8 million.

The AMD Akademie Mode & Design is the design department of the private Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. N-Joy (also N-JOY) is a German, public radio station by the Norddeutschen Rundfunk (NDR) made for listeners with an age between 14 and 29. The headquarters is in Hamburg. Program director is Norbert Grundei.N-Joy started broadcasting on 4 April 1994. The actual program is dominated by charts oriented music, interviews with musicians and unplugged songs.

Der Hamburger und Germania Ruder Club (DHuGRC) is a rowing club from Rotherbaum, Hamburg, Germany. It was founded in 1836 as Der Hamburger Ruder Club, the club is the fourth oldest rowing club in the world (2nd if only counting non-academically affiliated clubs) after Brasenose College Boat Club, Jesus College Boat Club (Oxford) and Leander Club .

The Guest House of the Senate of Hamburg (German: Gästehaus des Hamburger Senats) is a villa on the Außenalster in the Hamburg borough of Uhlenhorst. It was built in 1868 as a residence for building materials trader Johann Friedrich Krogmann. Designed by Martin Haller, the villa has two and a half floors and white plaster facades.

Wandse (in sections also called Eilbek) is a river of Schleswig-Holstein and of Hamburg, Germany.The Wandse rises west of the village of Siek in Kreis Stormarn in Schleswig-Holstein and ends in the center of Hamburg in the Alster. Along the banks of the Wandse there were many water mills. The river passes through the settlements of Siek, Braak, Stapelfeld, and Hamburg.
