O'Donohue Park is a public green space located in the Far Rockaway neighborhood on the Rockaway Peninsula of New York City. The park is located at the eastern tip of the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk.Prior to its acquisition by the city, O’Donohue Park was a private community of summer homes and common space at the foot of Jarvis Lane, which later became Beach 9th Street.

The East Rockaway Inlet is an arm of the Atlantic Ocean which separates the Rockaway Peninsula from the barrier island which includes the Nassau County, New York communities of Atlantic Beach, Long Beach and Lido Beach.According to a plaque in Long Beach, NY, the original inlet was through Long Beach directly opposite East Rockaway, NY, hence the name.

Beach 36th Street, signed as Beach 36th Street–Edgemere, is a station on the IND Rockaway Line of the New York City Subway. The station is located at the intersection of Beach 36th Street and Rockaway Freeway in Edgemere, Queens. It is served by the A train at all times.

According to NYC Parks Department the Cornell Burial Ground is on the west side of Caffrey Avenue north of New Haven Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens in New York City.

Far Rockaway Beach Bungalow Historic District is a historic area in Far Rockaway, Queens County, New York. It includes summer beach bungalows near the oceanfront of Far Rockaway. They are smaller than the usual domestic bungalows of the 1920s. They were built in 1921 using pattern book designs incorporating uniform facades, compact interiors, integrated porches and exposed rafters.

US Post Office-Far Rockaway is a historic post office building located at Far Rockaway in Queens County, New York, United States. It was built in 1935, and is one of six post offices in New York State designed by architect Eric Kebbon as a consultant to the Office of the Supervising Architect. It is a two-story brick building with limestone trim and a low granite base in the Colonial Revival style.
