Brunel Woods

We accessed Brunel woods from a small gate on Seymour drive road parking on this residential street . Found the Brunel carvings easily in the wood , def worth a look . Access to watcomb beach is currently closed (Aug 2021) therefore the route mapped here to the coast path however easily rerouted through watcomb woods (across the car park for those that don’t know it) . Maidencomb beach is dog friendly with nice cafe and there is also a potential drink/ Lunch stop At the Thatch in the village . Very steep climb out of Maidencomb , would be easy to route back via the coast on an alternative path if so wished .
