Furnival Gardens (formerly also spelt Furnivall Gardens) is a park in Hammersmith alongside the river Thames.It was once the location of the mouth of Hammersmith Creek, which had an active fishing trade until about 200 years ago. The creek was filled in in 1936.In 1948, it was decided that there should be a public open space on bomb-damaged land between the river and the Great West Road, to coincide with the 1951 Festival of Britain.

The River Café is a restaurant in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, London, specialising in Italian cuisine. It was owned and run by chefs Ruth Rogers and Rose Gray until Gray's death in 2010; since then, Rogers has been the sole owner and has run the restaurant.

Riverside Studios is an arts centre on the banks of the River Thames in Hammersmith, London, England. The venue plays host to contemporary performance, film, visual art exhibitions and television production. Having closed for redevelopment in September 2014, Riverside Studios is scheduled to reopen in 2019.

The Dove is a Grade II listed public house at 19 Upper Mall, Hammersmith, London W6 9TA.It dates from the early 18th century. A number of historical figures have been associated with the pub beside the River Thames. Among these are Graham Greene, Ernest Hemingway, Dylan Thomas and William Morris who lived next door.

Kelmscott House is a Georgian brick mansion at 26 Upper Mall in Hammersmith, overlooking the River Thames. It was the London home of English textile designer, artist, writer and socialist William Morris from October 1878 until his death in October 1896.Originally called The Retreat, Morris renamed it after the Oxfordshire village of Kelmscott where he had lived at Kelmscott Manor from June 1871.

Stamford Brook was a tributary of the Tideway stretch of the River Thames in west London supplied by three headwaters. Historically used as an irrigation ditch or dyke the network of small watercourses had four lower courses and mouths.

St Nicholas Church, Chiswick is a Grade II* listed Anglican church in Church Street, Chiswick, London, near the River Thames. The oldest part of Chiswick developed as a village around the church from c. 1181. The tower was built at some time between 1416 and 1435.The current church dates from 1882–84, when most of the building except the tower was demolished and rebuilt at the expense of the brewer Henry Smith of the nearby Fuller, Smith and Turner brewery.

7 Hammersmith Terrace is an historic house in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, England, and the former home of English engraver and printer Emery Walker. Walker was an important figure in the English Arts and Crafts movement, and a close friend of textile designer William Morris, who lived nearby.

The Black Lion is a Grade II listed public house at South Black Lion Lane, Hammersmith, London.It dates from the late 18th century.

The Rutland Arms is a public house at 15 Lower Mall, Hammersmith, London, England.The Rutland Arms opened in about 1849 and was rebuilt in the 1870s. During the Blitz, the pub lost its top floor and balcony, and the West End Boathouse on the opposite corner was also destroyed and replaced with flats.
