The Marble Palace (Persian: کاخ مرمر‎, Kākh-e Marmar) is one of the historic buildings and royal residences in Tehran, Iran. It is located in the city centre, but the location was a quiet quarter of Tehran when the palace was erected.

The Assembly of Experts (Persian: مجلس خبرگان رهبری‎, romanized: majles-e khobregân-e rahbari) —also translated as the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership or as the Council of Experts— is the deliberative body empowered to designate and dismiss the Supreme Leader of Iran. However all directly-elected members after the vetting process by the Guardian Council still have to be approved by the Supreme Leader of Iran before gaining membership to the Assembly of Experts.

The House of Leadership (Persian: بیت رهبری‎, Beit-e Rahbari; official name: Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran (Persian: دفتر مقام معظم رهبری‎); Daftar-e Magham-e Moazzam-e Rahbari) is the official residence, bureaucratic office and principal workplace of the Supreme Leader of Iran since 1989.Its structure is a mixture of traditional Beit (religious office of Marja') and modern bureaucracy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Persian: وزارت امور خارجه‎ Vezārat-e Omūr-e Khārejeh) is an Iranian government ministry headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is a member of cabinet. The current Minister of Foreign Affairs is Mohammad Javad Zarif, who was approved by the Parliament on 15 August 2013 after being nominated by the President.

The National Museum of Iran (Persian: موزهٔ ملی ایران‎ Mūze-ye Melli-ye Irān) is located in Tehran, Iran. It is an institution formed of two complexes; the Museum of Ancient Iran (Mūze-ye Irān-e Bāstān) and the Museum of the Islamic Era (Mūze-ye Dowrān-e Eslāmī), which were opened in 1937 and 1972, respectively.

The Senate (Persian: مجلس سنا‎, romanized: Mad̲j̲lis-i Sinā) was the upper house legislative chamber in Iran from 1949 to 1979. A bicameral legislature had been established in the 1906 Persian Constitutional Revolution but the Senate was not actually formed until after the Iran Constituent Assembly, 1949, as an expression of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's desire for more political power.

Tehran County (Persian: شهرستان تهران‎) is a county in Tehran Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Tehran. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 7,882,843, in 2,313,002 families. The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Kan District, and Aftab District.

The National Garden (Persian: باغ ملی‎, Bāq-e Melli) is a historical and governmental compound in Tehran, Iran.Formerly referred to as the Parade Square (Persian: میدان مشق‎, Meydān-e Mashq) (میدان رژه, Meydān-e Rezhe), it used to be a military shooting range during the Qajar period. It was then turned into a public park for a short period, and eventually important governmental offices and museums were built around it.

Malek National Museum and Library is a museum and national library in Tehran, Iran. Malek National Library and Museum Institution (MNLMI) is the first private museum of Iran andone of the six large libraries holding exquisite manuscripts. The MNLMI collection is a rich trove of the best manuscripts and Iranian historical artworks.

Imam Ali Officers' University (Persian: دانشگاه افسری امام علی‎; acronym: دا اف, DĀʿAF), formerly known as Officers' School (Persian: دانشکده افسری‎) is the military academy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces, located in Tehran, Iran. Cadets of the academy achieve the second Lieutenant rank upon graduation and join one of Islamic Republic of Iran Army branches.
