Kalimpong walk-Mayfair

Kalimpong is a city and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located at an average elevation of 1,250 metres (4,101 ft). The city is the headquarters of the Kalimpong district. The Indian Army's 27 Mountain Division is located on the outskirts of the city.Kalimpong is known for its educational institutions, many of which were established during the British colonial period.

Morgan House Kalimpong or Morgan House is a mansion of British colonial architecture built by an English jute baron Mr George Morgan in the 1930s on the hill station of Kalimpong, Kalimpong district, West Bengal. Today, the mansion is a hotel managed by West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTDC).

Kalimpong is a subdivision of the Kalimpong district in the state of West Bengal, India formed when the British annexed the territory from Bhutan in 1864. It consists of the Kalimpong Municipality and three community development blocks: Kalimpong–I, Kalimpong–II and Gorubathan. The three blocks contain 42 gram panchayats.

Algarah is a small town located at a distance of 15 km east of Kalimpong town in Kalimpong district of West Bengal, India. It lies at an elevation of 1,780 m (5,840 ft) and has a population of about 3,000.

Kalimpong College, established in 1962, is the oldest college in Kalimpong, Darjeeling. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and science. It is affiliated with the University of North Bengal.

Kalimpong I (community development block) is an administrative division of Kalimpong district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Kalimpong police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Kalimpong.
