Naghsh Jahan Square

Ali Qapu Palace (Persian: عالی‌ قاپو‎, ‘Ālī Qāpū) or the Grand Ālī Qāpū is an imperial palace in Isfahan, Iran. It is located on the western side of the Naqsh-e Jahan Square, opposite to Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and had been originally designed as a vast portal entrance to the grand palace which stretched from the Naqsh-e Jahan Square to the Chahar Baq Boulevard.

Naqsh-e Jahan Square (Persian: میدان نقش جهان‎ Maidān-e Naghsh-e Jahān; trans: "Image of the World Square"), also known as Shah Square (میدان شاه) or Imam Square (میدان امام), is a square situated at the center of Isfahan, Iran. Constructed between 1598 and 1629, it is now an important historical site, and one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque (Persian: مسجد شیخ لطف الله‎) is one of the architectural masterpieces of Iranian architecture that was built during the Safavid Empire, standing on the eastern side of Naqsh-i Jahan Square, Esfahan, Iran. Construction of the mosque started in 1603 and was finished in 1619. It was built by the chief architect Mohammadreza Isfahani, during the reign of Shah Abbas I of Persia.

Isfahan University of Art (AUI) (Persian: دانشگاه هنر اصفهان‎) is a public University in Isfahan, Iran. It operated under the name of "Farabi University" before 1978, then it became a campus of the University of Art (based at Art University in Tehran). It was separated and became independent in 1999.

Maghsoudbeyk Mosque (Persian: مسجد مقصودبیک‎) is near the northeastern corner of Naqsh-e Jahan Square. It was built in 1601 by the order of Maghsoudbeyk, who was one of the very rich stewards of Abbas I. There is an inscription in the mihrab of this mosque, which is one of artworks of the famous calligrapher of the Safavid era Ali Reza Abbassi.

Tohidkhaneh is a historical building in Isfahan, Iran. The building is located behind the Ālī Qāpū palace. It was used as kitchen and prison of the palace for some time. It is said that it was the meeting place of Sufis in the Friday evenings in the era of Abbas I and they pray for the Shah in these meetings.

Molla Abdollah School is located in the bazaar of Isfahan, Iran, and was a premises for prayer and theological studies by reputed clergy, including Mullah Abdollah Shooshtari, during the reign of Shah Abbas I of Persia.
