Sarsfield's GAA

Sarsfields GAA is a hurling club is based in the villages of Riverstown and Glanmire in east County Cork. They have won six County Championships, 1951, 1957, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. They have also won three Minor County Championships, 2007, 2008 and 2014. The club derives its name for the Irish Jacobite and soldier Patrick Sarsfield, 1st Earl of Lucan.

Glanmire Community College is an Irish secondary school located in Glanmire, Cork, Ireland. It was opened in 1997 and has since expanded.It is a designated Community College under the joint trusteeship of Cork Education and Training Board and the Diocese of Cork and Ross. It serves the second level education needs of the greater Glanmire area.
