Amir Timur Park

Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is Uzbekistan's first international university. The university is the first in Central Asia to offer a Western education, with UK qualifications. WIUT was established in 2002 in conjunction with the "UMID" Presidential Foundation, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education and the University of Westminster in London.

The Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan (Uzbek: Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Fanlar akademiyasi, Ўзбекистон Республикаси Фанлар академияси) is the main scientific organization of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It coordinates research in all areas of science and technology. The academy was established in 1943 as the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR.

Yunus Rajabiy is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Yunusobod Line which was opened on 26 October 2001. It is a transfer station to Amir Temur Xiyoboni, Chilonzor Line.

Amir Temur Xiyoboni (“Amir Timur Avenue”; Formerly “October Revolution” until 1992) is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Chilonzor Line which was opened on 6 November 1977. It is a transfer station to Yunus Rajabiy, Yunusobod Line.Named by the square of Amir Timur.Prior to May 1, 1992 the station was called "October inkilobi" ( "October Revolution"), then it was renamed "Markaziy xiyoboni" ( "Central Square").

The Fundamental Library of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences is one of the key parts of "Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan" and plays significant role in development of sciences in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
