Gävle University College (Swedish: Högskolan i Gävle) is a university college (högskola) located in Gävle, Sweden. It uses the name "University of Gävle" in English, although it is officially a 'University College'. The university was established in 1977 and is currently organized into three academies and nine departments.

The Hälsinge Regiment (Swedish: Hälsinge regemente), designations I 14, I 14/Fo 49 and I 14/Fo 21, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traced its origins back to the 16th century. It was disbanded in 1997. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the provinces of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, and it was later garrisoned in Gästrikland.

Strömvallen is a football stadium in Gävle, Sweden. It was the home ground of Gefle IF until 2015. The stadium holds 6,703 people and was initially opened in 1903, with a dedicated spectator area built in 1923.
