Chioggia (Italian: [ˈkjɔddʒa]; Venetian: Cióxa [ˈtʃɔza], locally [ˈtʃoza]; Latin: Clodia) is a coastal town and comune of the Metropolitan City of Venice in the Veneto region of northern Italy.

Pellestrina is an island in northern Italy, forming a barrier between the southern Venetian Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea, lying south west of the Lido.The island is 11 kilometres (7 miles) long and has since the eighteenth century been bounded to its seaward side by large embankments. There are four main villages: San Pietro in Volta, Porto Secco, Sant' Antonio di Pellestrina and Pellestrina, known for their colourfully-painted houses.

Sottomarina is an Italian town of Roman origin. It is a frazione, and nowadays quarter, of the comune of Chioggia, which is part of the province of Venice in the Veneto region of northern Italy.

Chioggia Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Chioggia, Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta) is the main place of worship in Chioggia, Italy, in the south of the Venetian Lagoon. It dates from 1627. The interior contains many interesting works of art.

The Italian Catholic Diocese of Chioggia (Latin: Dioecesis Clodiensis) is in the Veneto. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Venice.
