Connolly station (Irish: Stáisiún Uí Chonghaile) or Dublin Connolly is the busiest railway station in Dublin and Ireland, and is a focal point in the Irish route network. On the North side of the River Liffey, it provides InterCity, Enterprise and commuter services to the north, north-west, south-east and south-west.

The 2009 All-Ireland Football Final was the 122nd event of its kind. Played between Cork and Kerry on 20 September 2009 in Croke Park, Dublin, it was the last football match of the 2009 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.Kerry won by a score of 0-16 to 1-09. It was their 36th All-Ireland SFC title, reaffirming their status as Gaelic football's most successful county.

Ballybough (Irish: An Baile Bocht, "the poor town") is an inner city district of northeast Dublin city, Ireland. Situated north of the Summerhill Parade /N.C.R. intersection to Drumcondra and east of the N.C.R. to the River Tolka at Fairview, adjacent areas include the North Strand and Clonliffe. Before its urbanization in the late 19th century, Ballybough was known as Mud Island, owing to its proximity to the mud flats that now form Fairview and environs.

Aldborough House (sometimes Aldboro House) is a landmark Georgian building in Dublin, Ireland. Built as a private residence by 1795, the original structure included a chapel (since lost) and a theatre wing. Annesley Bridge crosses the River Tolka in Fairview, Dublin, Ireland. The bridge was built in 1797. It is named after Richard Annesley, 6th Earl of Anglesey, the bridge was demolished and rebuilt in 1926. The East Wall Road, North Strand Road and Poplar Row meet at the west end of the bridge with Annesley Bridge Road at the east end, making it an important junction in the north inner city.

The Dublin Tunnel (Irish: Tollán Bhaile Átha Cliath), originally and still commonly known as the Dublin Port Tunnel, is a road traffic tunnel in Dublin, Ireland, that forms part of the M50 motorway.The twin tunnels form a two-lane dual carriageway connecting Dublin Port, which lies to the east of central Dublin, and the M50 motorway at junction 2, close to Dublin Airport.
