Madison

The Museum of Early Trades and Crafts is a non-profit educational institution in Madison, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The museum's mission is:To enhance the understanding and appreciation of America’s past by presenting and interpreting the history, culture and lives of ordinary people through educational programs, through preservation and stewardship of our collection, and through exhibition and demonstration of the trades and crafts practiced in New Jersey from its earliest settlement.

Madison is a NJ Transit station in Madison, Morris County, New Jersey, United States, along the Morristown Line. The station was built in 1916 after the local government passed an ordinance for $159,000 with the cooperation of the D.L. & W.R.R. in the planning of the depot. Mrs. D. Willis James financed much of the road grading caused by the track elevation.

The Madison Civic Commercial District is a 49-acre (20 ha) area of downtown Madison, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. It includes 450 buildings and one structure in an area roughly bounded by Main Street (NJ 124), Kings Road, Green Avenue, Waverly Place, Lincoln Place and Prospect Street.It had been the historic core of Madison starting in the late 19th century.

The Sayre House is located in Madison, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built c. 1745 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 12, 1980.According to two signs on the front of the house, General Anthony Wayne occupied the house in 1777 while the continental army was encamped in the area.
