Starting at Elworthy Ranch Staging Area off San Ramon Valley Pkwy. Follow the road (marked as Fiddleneck trail) up the grassland hillside, alone oak glens, up and over to the top of the ridge. Give grazing cows plenty of room and give them time to move out of the way. Sometime they take some time to decide to move or not. Beautiful, expansive views of the valleys and hills. When you reach the ridge road, continue south for a hundred feet and then a short walk to the top of a hill to see the east/west valley and the development coming up these hills
