The Huniade Castle (Romanian: Castelul Huniade, Hungarian: Hunyadi kastély) is the oldest monument of Timişoara, built between 1443 and 1447 by John Hunyadi and Paolo Santini de Duccio over the old royal castle dating from the 14th century (built during the reign of Charles I Robert).The castle was rebuilt by the Turkish pashas in the 17th century and by Prince Eugene of Savoy in the 18th century.

The Mühle House (Romanian: Casa Mühle) is a building located at 3 Mihai Viteazu Boulevard, Timișoara, Romania.The house was built around 1866–1868, and in 1878 was purchased by horticulturist Wilhelm Mühle. He and his son lived there for decades on end, and used the building and its grounds as a greenhouse and garden.

The cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Timișoara and Metropolis of Banat. It is dedicated to the Three Holy Hierarchs, Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom.
