Ingbirchworth is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England. It is in the civil parish of Gunthwaite and Ingbirchworth and on the boundary of Kirklees in West Yorkshire. At the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 400, increasing to 460 at the 2011 Census.The village is notable for its reservoir, the eldest of the three situated in the area (the others being Royd Moor and Scout Dike).
