Grottammare-Cupra

Grottammare is a town and comune on Italy's Adriatic coast, in the province of Ascoli Piceno, Marche region. The town is crossed by the 43rd parallel north. Economy is mostly based on summer tourism; other sectors include food and vegetables production, mechanics, and commerce.

Cupra Marittima (Latin: Cupra Maritima) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southeast of Ancona and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Ascoli Piceno. As of 1 January 2008, it had a population of 5,252 and an area of 17.2 square kilometres (6.6 sq mi).
