Introduction

Sungei (River) runs along Buangkok Drive on one side and the Serangoon Park Connector (PCN) on the other. A full round it is almost 2 km. Best to walk in the early morning or in the evening when it’s quieter, breezy and calming. Did this route at the crack of dawn and went a number of rounds till day break. Start this route at the junction of Hougang Ave 10 and Buangkok Drive just outside Punggol Park. Head on along Buangkok Drive until the 2nd bridge/Road at the junction of Buangkok Dr and Serangoon Road. Cross the bridge and loop in to the other side of the river along the PCN. The tracks are well paved and cater to those on bicycles too. There are side entrances to the park if you prefer to divert. There is also a bicycle rental shed and a washroom nearby.
