Independence Park

The Ironbound is a neighborhood in the city of Newark in Essex County, New Jersey, United States. It is a large working-class, close-knit, multi-ethnic community & suburb, covering approximately 4 square miles (10 km2) of well maintained streets and homes. Historically, the area was called "Dutch Neck," "Down Neck," or simply "the Neck," due to the appearance of the curve of the Passaic River.

East Side High School is a four-year public high school in Newark in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Newark Public Schools. The school serves the city's Ironbound neighborhood. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1929.

St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic parish church located within the Archdiocese of Newark at 164 Nichols Street in the Ironbound section of Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, United States. The church was built in 1917 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
