Sandringham beach to Ricketts Point

HMVS Cerberus (Her Majesty's Victorian Ship) is a breastwork monitor that served in the Victoria Naval Forces, the Commonwealth Naval Forces (CNF), and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) between 1871 and 1924.Built for the colony of Victoria under the supervision of Charles Pasley, Cerberus was completed in 1870, and arrived in Port Phillip in 1871, where she spent the rest of her career.

The Half Moon Bay is a bay and neighbourhood on Port Phillip, south east of Melbourne. Located in the suburb of Black Rock, it is home to the Black Rock Yacht Club, the Half Moon Bay Lifesaving Club and the Cerberus Beach House Restaurant and Beach Kiosk. This bay also gets a mention in the Cat Empire song, "The Wine Song".

Sandringham railway station is located on the Sandringham line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Sandringham opening on 2 September 1887.A signal box is located at the Flinders Street end of the station, whilst a stabling yard is directly opposite to the station, stabling up to four trains overnight.

The City of Sandringham was a local government area about 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia, on the eastern side of Port Phillip. The city covered an area of 14.97 square kilometres (5.78 sq mi), and existed from 1917 until 1994.
